Job Description
Lead user interface design in conceptualization, design and development
Conduct primary research to identify requirements and develop user profiles
Brainstorm, research, wireframe, design and refine user experiences - all within specified product requirements and deadlines.
Develop Visual Mockups and Prototypes
Talk with development and customer stakeholders to develop and evolve the user interface designs.
Work closely with engineers to create simple, easy to use software on the web/mobile.
Quickly grasp and distill highly complex user design issues into clean, understandable solutions.
Must flourish in a fast paced, iterative, deadline driven environment.
Advocate for and follow the user-centered design principles in all design activities.
Skills
Strong awareness of common Usability methods and principles
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
A clean sense of design aesthetics, and a natural propensity towards simplification over complication
An aptitude and honed intuition for tasteful, visual design details
An enduring sense of humor
Ability and passion to design for a foreign context
Fluency with Adobe suite of products
Fluency with a wire framing tool of your choice(balsamic, omnigraffle, axure,etc)
Do you also do HTML and CSS (wow, lets talk now!)
