Create organization’s Test Automation Frame work and set standards and guidelines.
Working on application test framework that promotes re-usability and scalability of test assets.
Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium.
Rapid development of modular test cases based on requirements.
Peer reviews of test cases and artifacts.
Meeting on-time, on-quality commitments for assigned program/project deliverables.
Train tester and developer on performing execution of test automation scripts
Experience
Excellent knowledge of Selenium tool (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, and Selenium GRID) 6+ years of solid test automation script development.
A deep understanding of the Selenium object model, Java, .NET and Web , client/server technologies, knowledge of Unix/ Linux command line and shell scripting
Excellent knowledge of one or more high level scripting language including Java Script, HTML, PHP, Python, Ruby.
Ability to quickly understand complex application and systems.
Ability to transform manual test cases into modular automated tests.
Proficient in the use of HP Quality Center or other test management tools for executing automated tests.
Excellent knowledge of version management and base-lining needs for test assets.
Clear understanding of the Agile -SDLC phases, especially requirements and how they map to tests.
Demonstrated ability to be a key player in projects.
Ability to proactively comprehend problems and resolve them with minimal supervision.
Energetic self-starter, with desire to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Ability to confirm objectives and drive them according to plan with a minimum oversight
Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities when situation requires
Excellent verbal and written communication
Education
B.S. Computer Science or related engineering discipline
Desired Skills
Development background is a huge plus
SQL knowledge and shell scripting capabilities are a plus.
Familiarity with the Telecommunication domain and Security Standards is highly desirable.
