Job Description: As a Sr. Software Developer, you will be developing Graphical User Interface (GUI) applications for aerospace systems. Your role is to design innovative solutions and develop software products in a highly collaborative, fast-paced work environment. You will work closely with product managers, user interaction designers, and other software engineers to develop new product solutions and features and improve existing ones.
Specific Responsibilities:
Participate in the high level and low level requirements specification of user interface software elements and features
Identify and develop appropriate software architecture based on the requirements contained in a system specification
Develop and maintain documentation for software requirements, software architecture design and development standards
Design and implement software code for user interface front end and back end elements
Develop test cases and test reports for developed software
Integrate internal and external product design into a cohesive user experience
Work with visual designers to improve and refine product visual design and consistency
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience: 1 – 3 years
Desired Skills & Experience:
1+ years of experience in Qt/C++, QML Graphical User Interface (GUI) application development
Strong knowledge in Multithreading & OOP concepts
Strong knowledge of data structures/algorithms
Experience with various design patterns & their implementation
Experience with all phases of SDLC
Experience in designing and developing databases
Experience in developing multimedia related applications
Experience in a cross-platform software development environment (Linux, Windows)
Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Must be creative and able to develop new approaches to complex design problems
Knowledge in developing applications for mobile device operating systems is a plus
Knowledge in computer vision is a plus
