Canvera Digital Technologies Pvt Ltd, Bangalore is looking for Interaction Design fresher to be part of the Canvera Product Design team.
Canvera is a product company, which focuses on building products for photographers and consumers to simplify the different needs around photography and photo management.
We are looking for talented individuals who will be part of the Canvera User Experience team to build multiple products around photography and Photo management across multiple platforms (Web, Smart phones, tablets, cloud)
Ideal person should have interest in photography, aware of the current challenges that every photographer or consumers is facing in this digital era, and should be able to come up with product and feature ideas to solve those problems in an elegant way.
Overview
As an interaction design at Canvera, you must be smart and passionate about designing consumer facing software products. This means your key focus should be on creating compelling interactive experiences and also good at:
Understanding the complex systems, processes, and relationships of people and products.
Creatively solving problems at all levels of detail: from the big picture to the nuts and bolts
Presenting your work, and communicating your design concepts at various levels starting from software developers to Business Stake holders
Learning new things.
Being decisive. You value feedback but don't require it to make a judgment call.
INTERACTION DESIGNER (0-3 YEARS) WEB/MOBILE
Interaction Designer participate in product research, strategy, information architecture development, and interaction design to create products that emotionally connects users with the product regardless of whether it's a software application, or consumer electronics devices.
Responsibilities:
Conduct user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modeling, information architecture design, and interaction design.
Participates actively in user research and usability testing activities in collaboration with the user research team.
Design and specify user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery.
Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications.
Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, project management, business and brand strategists, and software developers.
Job Requirement
0-3 years of user interface design experience.
Photography enthusiasts who understands the pinpoints of a photographer as well as consumers in the digital era.
Diploma/Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related design or behavioral science discipline.
In depth knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to Web, mobile based applications
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, and Dreamweaver, Axure.
Is technology savvy and aware of all new platforms and applications available across different platforms (web, mobile, tablet)
Awareness about the possibilities and limitations of new Web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS etc.
