We are looking for a full stack marketer with more than 2 years experience marketing and selling products online , preferrably in a startup. We are an Indian startup building an online video creation experience for the global market and I can't stress enough on how challenging it would be to take on a global market like few have done from India. We are keen on working with folks who believe strongly in the vision of Typito, own full stack marketing (not to forget sales and customer happiness) and evangelise a certain re-thought video creation experience that could potentially change the way videos are created online worldwide.

We are a very small (< 10) team and are looking for a talented marketer who has had exposure and experience at all levels of the marketing stack. A proactive person who should not be supervised all the time. A self starter and ready to work in entrepreneurial atmosphere is must.

Responsibilities

Product marketing ownership - he/she would be expected to work closely with product guys, own and execute any communication that goes outside the Typito HQ. The team would look upto you to strategise and initiate marketing campaigns that'd be in alignment with our weekly and monthly goals. You will have helping hands, but you would remain the throat to choke ( :-D ) for anything that's floating between marketing - sales - customer happiness. We love over-communicating and the team would look forward to your weekly rants on how bad or good we are doing in the market. Focus at the moment would be to enhance our marketing efforts to work with YouTube creators and enable them with the Typito experience.

Here are a few hats you'll be frequently sporting the first couple of years at the minimum:

Social Media Marketing - Understand the potential of social media channels and how it can be leveraged to get lead inflow. Know how to make any content copy go viral and connect with influencers over these channels.

SEO / SEM - Must know on-page and off page SEO optimizations and how to get the tractions with targeted keywords.

Email Marketing - Being able to harvest email list and drive customer engagement through frequent email newsletters.

Content Marketing - Develop and manage content (blogs, infographics, whitepaper etc), that is appropriate for our audience and making viral to finally bring in visitors to our website.

Public Relations - Must get attention of the bloggers and journalists within tech verticals and make sure that Typito gets the needful press coverage (and not overdo it).

Research and Analytical Skills - Good understanding of web analytics and familiarity with Google Analytics. Strong research skills and data-driven thinking.

Product Marketing - Must know Paid and organic advertising channels. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.

Cold Calling and Outreach - Must not hesitate to reaching out to businesses via cold calling or emails.

Growth Hacking - Constantly coming up with creative growth strategies to help Typito get more and more happy users on board.

Requirements

2 years work experience in online marketing domain. Startup experience is a bonus!
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Entrepreneurial spirit and drive with the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic organization and strong bias for action/getting things done, both individually and with teams.
A self-starter, who loves to take on hard problems, enjoys programming and working in startup environments.
Ability to work flexible hours when necessary for deadlines.
