About Your Role : Full Stack Engineer
Our client T&F is building the world’s leading platform connecting the network of human knowledge.

You will be working with highly motivated and extremely talented engineers on creating frontend and backend vertical services with quality, performance, and scale in mind at every step of the way. We are using a microservices-based architecture composed of multiple services joined into one API. Our architecture uses Angular2/React and Node for the web and Typescript and Java on the backend.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will work with like-minded talented engineers towards enriching the experience of our users and partners. As we grow the network of human knowledge, you will contribute to software services positioned to harness it to accelerate our business.
About you
You are passionate about coding and want to be surrounded by like-minded individuals
You like to ship software early and often and possess a good understanding of continuous delivery, writing unit tests and automated testing.
You are comfortable working on multiple tiers of modern applications, frontend, and backend
You TDD/BDD all day
You enjoy working with technologies like Java, Javascript, MySQL, Angular, Node, MongoDB and love playing around with AWS.
You understand how the web works and how to make it efficient (HTTP, caching, page rendering, sockets, etc)
You possess solid software development fundamentals (data Structures, algorithms, problem-solving, OO design, and system architecture).
You care about great design, not only in the product and visual sense but also in your code and technical architecture
You have a BE/MSc - Computer Science
You have a minimum 3+ years of Java/Javascript programming experience.
You are able to clearly communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
Contribute to all aspects of the services under the team’s ownership, which includes design, implementation, refactoring, automated testing, deployment, and uptime of the services.
Help set the vision of the services under the team's ownership.
Help align the roadmap based on customer and company desires.
Build the technology the right way: for us, this means simple, well-tested services that gradually grow over time, and that provide plenty of insight into production performance.
