Echo Is a new type of company, one that works on the concept of degrees of separation, and helps you make new connections offline. We are developing a completely unique product (a mobile app acts as an enabled of the product offering) in which the realities and the complexities of execution do not stand in the way of a kickass idea.
The app has been up for validation for about 3 months now, and the response has been incredibly amazing so far, with an incredibly high positive rating.
We’re looking for amazing and passionate android developers to join our team, and help us perfect this product.
The Candidate:
You are an exceptional client-side developer and you see the world in code. You are of the belief that quality is better than quantity and you can stand proudly behind your work. And you can't shut your eyes till you get things done.
The Job:
As our Android Developer, you will be responsible for
writing flawless code in a fast paced environment
Translate designs and wireframes into high quality and responsive android screens (xmls)
Design, maintain and build high performance, reusable, scalable and reliable android code
Periodic QA and A/B testing to ensure the code is of best quality, and adhers to standard industry practices
Latency compensation, and eye to detail
ASO, and various API integrations (If and whenever essential)
Help maintain code quality, organization and automation
Enthusiasm to work on non-designated projects; which aren’t part of your primary job role
The Qualifications:
Strong programming abilities with Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
Usage of third party libraries and API's.
Good knowledge on JAVA, GCM, AWS
Should have published at least one original Android App.
Solid understanding of full mobile development life cycle.
Should be very familiar with Security aspects in both iOS and Droid.
Must be obsessed with high quality.
Explore and adapt new technology and best practices while developing.
