1. Job Description

* Summary:

The Digital Media Buyer (Ad Ops) will be responsible for the planning, setup, and execution of Audience Targeted campaigns in accordance with the strategy and objective of IOs. These specialists use multiple interfaces, in a self-service capacity, to discover audiences and target them via media buying tools (DSPs) across various channels. Campaigns need to be maintained and optimized frequently to achieve campaigns KPI goal and deliver completely. You will be expected to interact with multiple tech support teams for setup and troubleshooting, and collaborate with designated Automated Trading teammates continually for support and promote knowledge sharing.

* Area of Focus:

Paid digital/social media buying

KPI-driven strategic paid digital/social media planning

Audience development, content distribution and user acquisition through paid digital/social media

* Primary responsibilities:

Lead the development of cross-channel, data-driven paid digital/social media strategies that encompass both traditional direct publisher and programmatic buying and are tailored to mobile execution objectives and UA of the brand or client.

Grasp technical understanding of programmatic buying, audience buying and DSPs.

Setup and launch each campaign in the designated media buying platform

Proactively optimize for maximum performance and delivery

Understand client objectives to successfully optimize each campaigns and complete strategic recommendations to further account success.

Communicate thoroughly, respond rapidly with account managers, fellow trading teammates and product team members.

Work closely with Account Management to provide insights and recommendations that align with, or enhance, client strategy

Develop and maintain relationships with data, inventory, and platform vendors

Keep abreast of industry trends through trade journals, industry conferences and current events

* Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Entrepreneurial mindset - you work independently and do not require micromanagement

Strong understanding of the overall ad technology ecosystem (SSP, DSP, RTB, etc.), ad servers, inventory supply and demand, ad tags, etc.

Expertise managing and executing paid digital marketing campaigns across all major display, video and social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) as well as digital advertising solutions spanning SEM, programmatic and direct display, Mobile, etc.

Track record of delivering results through paid digital media campaigns that include Social, SEM, Display and integrated approaches to paid customer acquisition

Proficiency in developing measurement and learning plans to track and measure campaign performance

Expertise in developing on-going campaign reporting, including analysis and optimization recommendations

Understanding of performance marketing strategies and platforms and tools required for execution on desktop and mobile

Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through

Capable of synthesizing large amounts of information into actionable plans

Exceptional communication skills

Strong collaborator and team-oriented

Proficient computer skills including all major media planning/buying and measurement software, including cloud-based solutions

2. Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing/Business preferred)

4-6 years of digital and social media planning/buying experience within a media buying agency

2-3 years of relevant experience in Account Management or other related ad tech consultative client-facing roles

Performance based network marketing experience

Experience working in Doubleclick Campaign Manager and sufficient knowledge of ad trafficking systems and processes

Proven history of managing large initiatives with tight deadline
