Ikigai Technology is looking for a talented product engineer who is a problem solver at heart and is passionate about working on the .NET platform. Our core platform is based on .NET MVC 3, Entity Framework Code First approach, Web API and MS SQL server 2008. We use jQuery for our front-end and follow best practices to ensure fast and responsive user interface.
Ideal candidate should be curious and self-driven learner having a strong base of computer science fundamentals. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and test our core platform based on ASP.NET MVC 4
Contribute to algorithm design, application architecture, and implementation of web-based user interfaces, highly-available and fault-tolerant systems, and reliable APIs which will be used to integrate with third party systems
Integrating our platform with 3rd party APIs - SOAP, REST
Take part in technical discussions with clients and third party API providers
Translate business objectives into solutions
Essential Requirements
2-5 years of software engineering experience working with C#, .NET and ASP.NET
ASP.NET MVC 4
Strong fundamentals in relational databases - MS SQL server 2014
Strong understanding of Web Technologies - HTTP, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON etc
Good understanding of XHTML/HTML5, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, JavaScript
Experience with code unit testing and mocking
Experience on Node JS, Angular JS is a added advantage
