We are currently looking for a technical lead with 2-4 years of experience interested in playing a pivotal role in a growth stage crowdsourced analytics marketplace. As CrowdANALYTIX gears up to scale its business, the candidate needs to:
be passionate about building the next generation scalable data platform
have experience of working in a startup environment, comfortable in meeting and managing changing expectations.
have experience of working in high pressure environments and ability to handle large scale deployments supporting fortune 500 clients.
be goal-oriented individual with strong interpersonal communications skills.
perform with minimal direction.
Responsibilities:
Drive technical projects in an innovative and fast-paced environment
Responsible for execution and success of technical projects
Contribute technically to projects - Development of APIs and streaming data delivery for third party consumption
Work closely with management team to ensure we're building the best products
Preferred Qualifications:
MS or BS in Computer Science or closely related degree
2-4 years of full stack development (hands on) experience (back end code).
Strong programming capabilities in at least two of the following: Java, C++, and Python
Experience in MVC architecture, using Struts and Spring Framework with various Java/J2EE design patterns.
Strong understanding of networking, Web standards such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, XML, and web security mechanisms.
Familiarity with application-level data storage, retrieval and analysis tools and concepts, such as SQL, NoSQL, logs analysis, protocol buffers, MapReduce
Good to have:
Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as Backbone.js, Dust.js, Node.js, bootstrap etc.
Knowledge of Apache Spark/Hadoop and its ecosystem.
Experience with cloud technologies including Big-Query, AWS/Google cloud APIs etc.
Experience defining web applications based on minimal inputs from the business team
Experience with rapid prototype development and creation of rich, responsive web applications.
