Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Education Information Management Officer in Gaziantep, Turkey. The duration of this post is 11 months.
The Education Information Management Officer will support the programme Coordinator and implementing partners with data collection, storage, and reporting.
NRC provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Education Information Management Officer will perform the following functions-
Support the formulation of the M&E Matrix and plans to address indicator reporting requirements.
Provide technical guidance on the design of data capture processes.
Supervise data capture processes to ensure they are implementation according to plans and agreed standards.
Provide analysis of information and data to address indicator reporting requirements.
Maintain CC files, data bases, and other archives documenting project progress.
Provide training and support to NRC and partner staff on data capture, analysis, and use.
Maintain the CC specific portion of data capture, analysis, and warehousing platforms (e.g. Mobenzi and BOX) is well organized and accessible.
Ensure compliance with NRC data policies.
Liaise with other units on areas of common responsibility.
Prepare Education 4W reports to the cluster on monthly bases.
Design and initiate quantitative and qualitative surveys for education activities suitable for children (6-14 years), youth (14-26 years), educational staff and parents.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
Experience with data management techniques.
Understanding of key privacy and information management ethical concerns and ability to manage information management activities within ethical guidelines.
Knowledge of the context in Syria desired.
Experience with mobile data capture desired.
Fluency in English and Arabic both written and verbal.
Nationality of Turkey.
