About the Role

An exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of our Masters in Surgery Programmes as a programme leader, to develop and maintain strong partnerships with clinical partners and enhance the student experience within the Faculty of Health & Social Care.

As well as leading taught elements in partnership with Wrightington Hospital; the successful candidate will play a significant role co-ordination and delivery of research methods modules and postgraduate dissertation modules, involving the supervision of students studying for postgraduate dissertations and research degrees.

The role works within a team of academics from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds and is expected to make a significant contribution to research in their chosen field and make a major contribution to the research profile of the Faculty at an exciting time in its development.

About You

An experienced HE educator, a creative and tenacious transformational programme leader, you will be excited by the opportunity to lead and develop innovation. You will be featured in recognised publications and have clear research outputs which show your interest in/ excitement for developing and disseminating knowledge.

You will be a strong team member and leader with self-reflection skills that enable you to seek opportunities and make use of your influencing skills to support wider development.

Your strong academic knowledge and skills will enable you to deliver, in partnership with Wrightington Hospital, a quality, rigorous and inspired programme.
