Part time opportunity to lead in the delivery of fantastic customer service

About You

An excellent communicator, you will have management experience in a customer service environment along with the ability to use initiative to identify and solve problems with minimal supervision. Advanced IT skills, as well as experience of providing customer support for PC hardware and associated peripherals, are also key for this position.

Demonstrable customer service and problem solving skills to ensure a fantastic customer experience face to face, online and via the telephone is essential.

About the Role

You will manage building operations and facilities during Saturday opening hours. This involves responsibility for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, in line with University regulations, including the student code of behaviour. You will also manage our physical and virtual enquiry services.

You will manage a small team who will carry out help desk and general library duties including shelving, tidying of book stock and maintaining the library’s acceptable use policy in relation to noise and inappropriate behaviour. You will ensure staff are deployed were needed to support the use of facilities and resources. You will also be required to produce reports and attend team meetings.
