We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the University as a the Strategic Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor who will be responsible for supporting and offering high level, professional advice and guidance to the Vice-Chancellor and other senior managers on matters relating to national and international higher education policy, horizon-scanning, internal policy advice and development, complex project management and high-level written materials. The post holder will also manage the staff and budget with the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate significant experience in drafting high level reports, briefings and correspondence for both internal and external audiences and will have experience in researching,analysing and collating data and being able to competently summarise sensitive information. The post holder should have excellent organisation and prioritising skills, including the ability to work to tight and conflicting deadlines alongside project management skills, contributing to deliveryon large strategic projects including planning and prioritising work and resources on a weekly/monthly basis.
