The European Bioenergy Research Institute requires a Business Research Associate to join an academic and operational team to work with research teams and business.
The successful candidate will provide technical and scientific expertise as part of a major bioenergy demonstration, research and knowledge transfer project. The role is required to work closely with academics and technologists in EBRI and other University departments as well as business development professionals to support new industry related business and collaborative research projects.
You will report to EBRI’s Project Manager and work closely with bioenergy and energy systems research teams in EBRI. The role will also support delivery of the regional Energy Research Accelerator project.
Government regulations, incentives along with policy and assessment of environmental impact are major factors in the development of the bio-energy business opportunities. A specialist able to work in this field is required to support the delivery of support to companies in the West Midlands region. A first degree and higher degree plus practical experience of working with regulatory environments, policy and environmental impact assessments in a business context would be welcomed.
