Capita TI continues to strengthen its position as a leading supplier for the public sector, after securing a place in 2 of the largest Language Services Frameworks in the UK: ESPO Framework 402-20 Language Services and National Police Dynamic Purchasing System for Language Services.
Through these frameworks, Capita TI will be delivering managed language services covering areas such as interpreting, both face to face and remote, translation and transcription to Health, Police and Local Government authorities, driven by our technology proposition SmartMATE and LiveLINK.
Capita TI is the sole supplier of managed language services for multiple Public Sector bodies in the UK, including Police forces across the country, many NHS organisations and local councils.
These relationships are built on trust, integrity and ultimately, our capacity to deliver highly critical services, supported by great language professionals and a strong technology platform, many times under very challenging circumstances. Response times are typically within a few hours and monitoring vetting and security clearances of our linguists are as important as ensuring their professional qualifications.
Capita TI has proven its resilience and commitment to the UK public sector during the COVID 19 Pandemic, as we continued to provide interpreting services to all of our customers in various locations around the country to ensure critical healthcare, public order and social care services can continue to be delivered to non-English speaking residents.
Via our award-winning technology LiveLINK we have been responding to over 25,000 interpreting requests via video or telephone per month during the pandemic. This has helped our public sector customers engaging with the community in the most challenging circumstances, whilst complying with social distancing measures.
Our technology platform, SmartMATE, plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of Capita Translation and interpreting’s managed language services to the public sector, as it combines high levels of security and compliance with automation and a very intuitive and comprehensive user dashboard.
Commenting on the news, Managing Director, Antonio Tejada said:
“I am extremely proud of the work that our Public Sector team carries out every day to reduce language barriers in so many UK communities. The award of a place in these 2 very large frameworks is to the credit of the hard work of our linguists, customer teams and technology teams. Everyone at Capita Translation and interpreting is excited for the opportunity to work with our public sector clients via these frameworks.”
