In fact, some of these mouth-watering delicacies are not only tasty, but also gorgeous works of art that you just can’t help but post on Instagram.

Join us as we explore the best pastry hotspots in sunny Bali – guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth, and the budding photographer in you.

1. Unicorns are real (and edible) – Cloud Cakes

Nothing gets more magical than unicorns, and nothing gets prettier than unicorns at Cloud Cakes – a dessert and snack stall at Denpasar.

This unicorn-themed establishment has a unicorn in its logo, and works hard to live up to it – many of their pastries feature that elusive animal.

Not only do they have a unicorn cake (with a cone for a horn), there’s also a special drink that includes a paper unicorn peeking out from a cloud of candy floss.

Photo via fandadeswina

That’s not all they have to offer though. Cloud Cakes also makes a series of pastel-coloured pastries, including rainbow cakes, donuts, and even shaved ice!

Just looking at the pictures alone are enough to give us a toothache – so we completely understand if you’re a manly man, and don’t appreciate beautiful horses with horns on their heads.

But can you resist the Grilled Cheese Sandwich that is grilled to perfection, and can you reject these golden brown fried oreos – that both have a unicorn printed on their packagings?

You can run, but you can’t hide from the unicorn at Cloud Cakes… and we don’t want to anyway.
