The 22nd round of invitations under Express Entry program has been rolled out on October 19, 2016. The 45th round of invitation since the inception of Express Entry Program by the Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada has seen a staggering amount of 1804 invitations rolled out.
The lowest CRS score for this round of invitation was 475 though the score is likely to fall in the future rounds. The CRS score is calculated on the basis of wide ranging parameters such as age, education, language proficiency, skill proficiency and so on. Candidates can avail extra points on the basis of their occupation as well as common law partner and other dependent relatives. The express entry program subsumes:
● Federal Skilled Worker Program
● Federal Skilled Trades Program
● Canada Experience Class
A few Provincial Nominee Programs also offer permanent residency on the basis of Express entry profile of a candidate. The number of ITA’s provided should also augment as immigrants contribute a lot to the economy of Canada. The ITA is provided after assessing an applicant’s profile and calculating their CRS score.
