IcanGWP Review: It smells lovely as Bumble and Bumble products always do.The bottle is very lightweight and comes with very tiny hold to shake the powder out. Very fine-milled powder and doesn’t leave any residue on my hair. It’s easy to use. Dark color hair will be able to use this product just fine (keep in mind to not overdo). It delivers everything it promises. It works like a great dry shampoo to remove all greasiness and gives a fresh just-washed hair look. Very natural looking result. Best of all – it adds a little volume too. I haven’t tried to blow dry or style after using it yet. People reported that it is great for adding texture after blow drying. Comparison to aerosol dry shampoo? I think that this one contains less chemical and thus doesn’t add funky smell to my hair. This is a top item everyone should have in their suitcase – very versatile.

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil | Full size is $25 Travel size is $9.50
The Almond Shower Oil transforms into a silky foam upon contact with water to cleanse and soften skin.
IcanGWP Review: The average review is 4.5. Its smell is DIVINE. It is a light almond scent. It’s subtle and very sweet. It is not transformed into foam very much. It has a slight lather. My skin is so soft and almond oil seem to stay hydrating my skin for a while. I like the idea of showering with oil, it’s great! People love to use this product after-shave. If you have seen L’Occitane Shower Oil from previous hotel stay, this one is probably double or triple the size. It is big and will be good for a week of vacation.

Sephora Collection Triple Action Cleansing Water | Full size is $12 – $20 Travel size is $6
A no-rinse micellar cleansing water with a texture ideal for delicate skin.
This product cleanses the face and eyes effectively in one simple step. Its soap-free formula features cleansing spheres that effectively capture and eliminate impurities and makeup. It also includes HydroSenn+, a natural ingredient proven to deliver immediate and long-lasting hydration more effectively than hyaluronic acid. The 13.5 oz bottle features a cleverly designed pump dispenser.
A few suggestions from Sephora for alternative usage:
-For fresh-feeling revived skin in the morning, use a cotton pad to apply cleansing water to face using gentle strokes.
-To relax eye area, apply cleansing water directly to closed eyelids with a cotton pad.
IcanGWP Review: The average review is 4.3. People really enjoy using this product because you can just go to bed without rinsing your face! The smell of Sephora cleansing product that they are provided in store is not my most favorite. I think that it is this one (please confirm). They share similar scent to me. It can do a good job of cleaning. It struggles a bit with waterproof mascara. It is also a little bit greasy. I am biased here because of the fragrance. Bioderma Sensibio H2O (8.4 oz $10.25) is the gentle micellar cleansing water I want to try. It is not well-known here but it is more popular and Europe and Asia.

IcanGWP Review: I haven’t try this one yet. The average review is 4.6. Really good reviews. People like the exfoliation beads this mask contains. Quite unique to have both clay and exfoliant in the same mask!

IcanGWP Review: I am trying to keep using aluminum-free deodorant. I am glad Sephora put this product into the kit. Luxury, natural and healthier deodorant is always a good addition to everybody routine. This is a great aluminum-free deodorant (not antiperspirant). It comes in a stick. Its texture firmer than usual deodorant. So it will be great for plane travelling (no melt or leak from pressure). This product smells nice (powdery) but not overpowering. It dries quickly. This product works as a good deodorant should. Keep in mind that you are sweating if you are using deodorant so reapplying might be a good idea. I want to try the Vanilla Coconut one too! The average review is 3.8. It’s quite low. I think that to be fair to this product, you may compare it to previous deodorant you have tried not antiperspirant. There’s also sensitive version here.
I will provide a little bit information about the difference between an antiperspirant and a deodorant and aluminum in antiperspirant. You may skip to the next items.
What is the difference between a deodorant and an antiperspirant?
Antiperspirants are designed to prevent you sweating + kill bacteria, while deodorants don’t stop you sweating but kill bacteria and mask underarm smells with fragrance. There are some studies revealed the possibility of using aluminum antiperspirants to cause breast cancer, Alzheimer’s Disease and kidney disease (thanks: Webmd.com).

A portable, non-chemical sunscreen that helps to protect, moisturize, brighten, and re-invigorate skin for a youthful-looking appearance.
IcanGWP Review: It is a one of a dream lotion with sunscreen for oily, combination and acne prone skin! On a hot summer day, can you imagine layers of toner, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen + makeup? It is quite difficult to find a good lotion with sunscreen that won’t clog pore, and this one do not (for me)! It is not leaving much grease on the skin. Just a sheen of active sun protection ingredients (Titanium Dioxide 3.36%, Zinc Oxide 4.13%). It doesn’t leave any white cast behind. The average review is 4. There is a good list of antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, and skin-repairing ingredients. The quality is great and the price is right too. If you are shopping for new sunscreen there are a couple good options here including brand new Clinique sunscreen fluid just added today (with 7pc Cliniuqe gift and 22pc sitewide gift at Nordstrom):
Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist | Full size is $35
A multibenefit lightweight mist that hydrates and balances the complexion, naturally sets makeup, and refreshes the skin and senses.

IcanGWP Review: The average review is 4.4. People use it as toner, refreshing mist or makeup setting spray. You will adore this mist OR the rose smell can be overpowering if you are not into floral scent. It dries quickly. Just so you know if you plan to travel by plane, this item was leaked when I receive it – may be just a bad luck. They also have the intense version and kit see more here.
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate® Intensive Exfoliating Treatment | Full size is $85 – $175 Travel size $24
A dual-action exfoliator that smooths and polishes to reveal a glowing, radiant complexion in as little as one use.
Precautions:
-This product may cause the skin to tingle and flush slightly for a short time.
-For sensitive skin, leave on for less than one minute, or use ExfoliKate® Gentle instead.
IcanGWP Review: I haven’t seen anything like this before. It is so very green! It makes me think of Lipstick Queen Frog Prince Cream Blush $24. Fresh smell and creamy texture with very fine plastic scrub beads. I am a little worried because of the warning. I hope that my skin can take it because this tube is $24! I use it as a cleanser (including eye area) and do not leave it on my skin any longer than other cleanser. I do not experience any tingle or flush. People with blackheads love it. I would not recommend this product to extra sensitive skin. There’s also Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Gentle Exfoliating Treatment. There are many starter kits with these products in them see here. Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation | Full size is $38 – $65 Travel size is $14 (a $22.50 value)
This oil-free moisturizer has a unique lightweight, whipped texture that penetrates skin and with essential moisture. It’s infused with fruit acids to gently exfoliate, refining your skin’s rough, uneven texture, tone, and dullness and while it promotes cell turnover. Pea extract, sugar, and vitamin C work together to fade dark spots and even skintone. Antioxidant protection helps defend skin from future damage. It can be used as a base for makeup applicaiton, and it leaves skin looking and feeling soft, healthy, nourished, and radiant.
IcanGWP Review: I tested out this Sheer transformation brightening moisturizer. It is indeed very sheer and has no smell. For those who usually not getting along well with AHA, you may give this product a try. This product is a very nice and gentle AHA + Vitamin C product to begin with. Full size comes in a clear glass bottle, make sure you store it in the drawer or cabinet. You might also want to try Ole Henriksen 3 Little Wonders or 3 Little Wonders mini here. There are over 1700 reviews on Sephora and people like these sets so much.
Too Cool For School Egg Cream Sheet Mask | Full size is $24 Travel size $6
A milky, serum-enriched microfiber sheet mask infused with egg white and egg yolk extract to instantly hydrate for a bright and radiant complexion.
IcanGWP Review: This is my favorite item in the kit and probably this month!
WHY? Let me start from – What is egg yolk extract in this egg cream mask? Egg yolk is basically water, cholesterol and more lipids. They are great as an emollient and water-binding agent for skin. The rest? There are a lot of Antioxidants, Cell-Communicating and Film-Forming/Holding Agents, Emollients, Absorbent, Thickeners/Emulsifiers. It contains Myrciaria Dubia Fruit Extract (Camu Camu from Peter Thomas Roth famous line). Even the preservatives they use are good ones (1,2-Hexanediol, Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin).
The experience is top notch as well. It is not a regular sheet. It is more like silicone that truly seal with your skin. It reminds me of facial I have gotten in the spa. I can’t believe I can buy it for $6. There is no cooling effect or tingling. I put it on for 10 minutes (they suggest 15 minutes) because this is the first usage. My skin is more elastic and plump immediately. Once I test my skin by pressing my finger on my cheek, it springs back! I was like what – $6 mask? The result is truly AMAZING! I have a couple of bad dry skin patches from the 5-day beach vacation. They are almost all gone (just only one spot left). I am so impressed by this mask that I want to investigate more products from them! See all Too Cool for School. They have 2 more sheet mask products.
Average review is 4.1. People complaint about: the size is too small, gross (it’s egg, it’s gross), too runny and dropping everywhere on their face or application is too difficult.
There is a little bit of fragrance in this product. Sephora is offering single mask and 5 sheet set. FYI – The ingredients of single and 5 sheet set are different. You can also purchase Too Cool for School at Memebox, Amazon, and Birchbox.

What I thought?
This set is AMAZING! This Sephora Favorites The Ultimate Travel Bag contains 3 haircare items, 2 body care items and 9 skincare items – a $118 value. This kit does cover almost everything you need for a trip! I always having so much fun with makeup sampler. But I think that skincare sampler is a great way of trying a variety of brands and products. To see if it will break you out, too strong, will it clog your pores, will you like its scent, will you have some improved result and so on. I really like Too Cool For School Egg Cream Sheet Mask (as you can tell) and I will keep purchasing it. The clear cosmetic bag might be the right size that TSA allow (please confirm). If you love high quality skincare, you should give this awesome kit a try. Finally, this is a great little gift for frequent travelers or something handy for your next trip!
