We are looking to appoint a highly-motivated, efficient and enthusiastic individual to assist with the Outreach project Science Hunters. Science Hunters use the computer game Minecraft to inspire children from widening participation backgrounds to take an interest in science by working with schools and other organisations.
You will be expected to assist with the organisation and running of outreach sessions in local schools and on campus. You will need to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and IT skills, as well as some knowledge of science. You must have an enthusiasm for working with children. You should be computer literate and will ideally be familiar with the computer game Minecraft. Previous experience of working with children in a science outreach role with equivalent responsibilities is desirable.
This is fixed term part time post, 14.5 hours, initially until 31/07/17.
