At House of Coco we travel a lot and as you may have noticed, we like to bring our readers a mix of different types of travel, because no two travellers are the same. Gone are the days of the traditional ‘fly and flop’ holiday and in its place a global health and wellness trend is booming, as well as an increasing popularity for adventure travel. Days 1-3

On arrival to Cape Town, guests will check in to Cape Grace, one of the cities most iconic hotels, for a three night stay. Located on its own private quay with the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Grace offers 120 stylish rooms and suites with lovely views of the harbour, an incredible spa and fitness studio, in which guests can while the evening away after a day of exploring the city. Cape Town’s famous botanical gardens, Kirstenbosch, are particularly beautiful and include an exhibition of African sculpture. A visit here is a delightful way to spend an afternoon.



Days 4-6

Guests will be met in the morning and transferred to the spectacular Winelands, famous for their white and red wines, sherries, ports and brandy. Just a half an hour drive from Cape Town, The Winelands comprise of fertile green valleys enveloped by proud mountain ranges; guests can spend time pottering around various vineyards, sampling different wines before retiring to the Delaire Graff Estate to relax by the pool or enjoy the spa. Delaire Graff is one of The Winelands finest properties with exceptional views across the two valleys, a winery, two restaurants as well as a Spa treatment centre and one of the best art collections in Africa.



Days 7-10

On day seven, guests will fly to Sabi Sands, South Africa’s flagship safari destination and one of Africa’s finest, to embark on an exhilarating safari. This immense area of world class private game viewing areas is home to both the Sand and Sabi rivers, which flow through the reserve ensuring an abundance of wildlife can populate the area. Sabi Sand is particularly famous for its leopard sightings. Guests will spend the remaining four nights at the private Londolozi Founders Camp in the heart of the Sabi Sands. Each suite at the camp comes complete with inside and outside showers and a private plunge pool. Guests can spend time immersing themselves in nature, indulging in yoga classes or relaxing on its numerous comfy sofas or at the bar.

Day 11

A representative of Londolozi Founders Camp will transfer guests back to Johannesburg airport to return home.

This mix of adrenalin and relaxation may not be good for the blood pressure, but my god, it’ll certainly be good for the soul.
