This year we are again offering 3-Day, 2-Day and 1-Day registrations. You can learn more about our exciting conference at http://bit.ly/2016JAHC.

Please carefully review the following Student Discount Eligibility Criteria and Procedures to determine whether or not you are eligible to apply for the discount. You can also find these criteria on our website at http://www.homeopathycenter.org/2016-jahc-student-rate-application-information.

Student Discount Eligibility Criteria

This discount is meant to assist conference attendees who are students working towards a professional career in homeopathy, but who are not yet practicing homeopathy.

• Attendees must be enrolled at a recognized school of homeopathy or other accredited 4 year institution, either full-time or part-time, completing an established curriculum at the school.

– Attendees enrolled in periodic workshops, seminars, webinars, or other courses that are not a part of an established curriculum at a homeopathic school are not eligible for this student discount.

• Practicing homeopaths (even if enrolled at a recognized school of homeopathy or program) are not eligible to receive this discount.

• In addition, the following individuals are not eligible to receive this discount:

– School directors, faculty, or clinical supervisors working at a recognized school of homeopathy.

– Recent graduates of a recognized school of homeopathy.

– Healthcare professionals working to integrate homeopathy into their already established practice.

Student Discount Procedures

• Eligible students must email, mail or fax their registration form to NCH, which can be found online here.

• Full payment must be submitted by email, mail or fax along with the registration form.

• Along with the registration form and payment, students must also submit verification from the school to the NCH office. Submit one of these two accepted forms of student verification:

(A) Letter on school letterhead signed by a school official that states they are a student enrolled in the program

(B) Copy of the student’s current student ID card (with photo and date).

All three items (registration form, payment and verification) must be submitted together in order to be eligible for the discount. Applications submitted without all three items will be rendered void. Online registration for students applying for the student discount is not available since all discounted registrations must be pre-approved by NCH staff.

Please Note these Important Policies:

• We cannot provide 50% refunds for student who first register at the full price. Proof of student status must be provided at the time of registration. Additionally, the student discount does not apply to tickets sold onsite for social events.

• Schools are welcome to send in a group registration (with a separate registration form with payment completed for each student) with one letter on school letterhead that lists the names of the students that are registering, signed by a school official. Payment must be submitted at that time as well. Please do not send any lists of student’s names that do not accompany completed registration forms and payments.

Please contact us at info@homeopathycenter.org if you have any additional questions about the discounted registration application process or this extraordinary event.

Happy Birthday to HHA!

HHA has just turned 7 years old.

There is plenty to celebrate.

Our work here goes from strength to strength.

The people of Africa are hungry for more.

We’ve learned so much from our intensive work here in Tanzania and East Africa. This knowledge has spread across the continent, travelling as far as New Zealand. It’s been exciting and gratifying to see our efforts ripple out across the world.

We’ve shown the huge power homeopathy has by:

Increasing the number of patients we serve

Developing great working relationships with hospitals

Reaching out to under-served communities

Getting our success stories out to the media

Spawning new centres throughout East Africa

Teaching homeopathy to many more young Africans

We plan to make an even bigger splash. We’ve already demonstrated that homeopathy can greatly improve the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS.

We’ve also made significant strides in identifying the remedies that are most often needed to support them. Now that so much essential ground work is done, we’re really looking forward to the next phase of our project.

1. Build a new Integrated Medicine Centre –

In late 2013, we opened our permanent, free clinic. In the last three months alone, the number of patients attending there has doubled.

AIDS isn’t a single disease, it’s a syndrome influenced by many distinct factors. We want to offer our patients a new kind of centre, one that offers truly integrated care, with access to medical staff, nutritional advice, osteopathy, acupuncture, counseling, opticians, dentists, micro-finance and more.
2. Create similar centres throughout the continent –

We have a thriving permanent centre, 2 hospital clinics and we’ve already successfully replicated our work in 16 mobile outreach clinics. In a similar way, we want our first Integrated Medicine Centre to act as a model. It will combine homeopathy with the very best that other medical modalities and support systems have to offer. Once we establish the first centre, it can be replicated across Tanzania and throughout Africa.
3. Teach homeopathy to the next generation –

We’ve already trained, and now employ, Tanzanian and Kenyan homeopaths. Our volunteers will continue to run courses in Tanzania and all over East Africa.

It’s wonderful to see former students, like Simon (pictured left) teaching homeopathy and becoming self-reliant. We also offer a written course, which is already operating in 12 countries. This aspect of our work is vital if HHA is to be sustainable for generations to come.
4. Help animals thrive, too –

We’re so fortunate to have Tineke Verkade volunteer with us. Tineke runs a hugely successfully homeopathy company in New Zealand, called Homeopathic Farm Supplies.

Her expertise has enabled us to treat cows, goats, horses and chickens at local farms. She’s also trained farmers. Now milk yields are rising, parasites are few and seriously malnourished animals are gaining weight. We plan to help chimpanzees next.
5. Produce research –

Research is high on our list of priorities. We’re working hard to establish a large number of clinical trials.

Tanzanian health authorities, quite rightly, have high ethical standards for research. We’re confident we can meet these standards. Your support allows us to fund these research projects, which are important both for the future of homeopathy and for us all.
6. Find larger donors –

We know the huge potential homeopathy has to transform lives and relieve suffering in a cost-effective, gentle way. In this next phase, we’ll be reaching out to generous donors, including those outside the homeopathic community, who are in a position to support us as we scale up our operations. If you know of anyone who may be open to hearing from us, please let us know. We’re now ready to focus on this in a big way.
7. Plan for HHA’s future –

Please share this newsletter and our new website with loved ones and patients.

Many are seeking a non-profit that transforms peoples’ lives, without funds being lost to huge bureaucracy and administration costs. Your unwavering generosity makes our work possible and heightens awareness of the power of homeopathy. At this pivotal moment, monthly donations, no matter how small, are especially helpful. They allow us to plan for the future with confidence.

We ask you to Support us on  World AIDS day by sending HHA a special “birthday” gift.
