Microsoft fixed product issues to improve the reliability and performance of the OneDrive sync app.
Colored Folders in File Explorer: OneDrive now supports colored folders in Windows File Explorer, allowing users to personalize and manage folder colors for better content visibility.
Trailing Spaces. OneDrive Sync now automatically trims trailing spaces in file and folder names to improve upload reliability.
Confirmation for Shared File Deletions: Users will now see a new dialog prompting confirmation when deleting shared files from File Explorer, as long as OneDrive is running and not paused.
Confirmation for Mass File Deletions: An updated dialog prompts confirmation when deleting more than 200 local files (by default) from File Explorer.
OneDrive Sync Status in Windows 10 File Explorer Ribbon: The OneDrive sync status, quota, and settings are now integrated into a new tab within the Windows 10 File Explorer ribbon (build 19045.4957) for improved productivity and easier access to sync information.
Resolved issue causing File Explorer slowness, especially in VDI environments where many sessions share the same host.
Improved experience when adding a Folder Shortcut: There is now a system notification that will notify the user that their folder shortcut has started to sync with the native file browser.
Improved experience when adding a Folder Shortcut to an already syncing folder: Users will be able to directly replace their existing syncing locations with the new Folder Shortcut.
Microsoft is working on a bug in OneDrive Personal (Consumer) where shortcut links are converted to classic shortcuts.

Open at Login: Updated the Open at Login setting to align to the System Settings > Login Items setting, which controls whether OneDrive is allowed to perform task in the background.

Unsupported File and Folder Names: OneDrive for Mac now supports syncing files and folders with the special characters lik <>/|?*”: in the name. On other non-Mac devices and in the browser, these characters will appear as HTML-encoded characters.

Build 15.27.3 (Testflight) is the last version of the OneDrive iOS and iPadOS apps that can be installed on with iOS 16 or iPadOS 16. The next one will only support iOS 17 and 18 and iPadOS 17 and 18

A bug in the Scan function does not have the possibilitiy to change the name of the file.
