Highly Unlikely Triangles are beaded versions of the Impossible Triangle, also known at the Penrose triangle or Penrose tribar. They are woven with beaded cubic right angle weave (CRAW) with embellishment. This tutorial is designed for advanced beginner beaders. Basic knowledge of beading is helpful.
This tutorial includes an illustrated discussion of impossible triangles and how they relate to their beaded counterparts. I provide detailed instructions for how to bead CRAW for this design. In the process, you will learn how to read charts like the like those found on my blog at http://gwenbeads.blogspot.com/2014/04/notation-for-cubic-right-angle-weave.html.
Materials lists and photo galleries are included for Highly Unlikely Triangles three sizes. As beaded beads, they have large holes through the center, letting you easily string them on chain or cord.
The tutorial is 14 pages, including over 100 illustrations and photographs. The tutorial is a PDF file that gives photos, illustrations, charts and explanations for reading the charts to make triangles in three sizes.
