It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Forza Horizon 3 is shaping up to have the most fun car roster in any current-gen racer. The latest garage update courtesy of EVO magazine further illustrates that point, featuring 30 cars in total. This week’s three stars are all modern-day wonders that span Asia, Europe and America in origin. A world-class buffet of driving pleasure from some of the most established names in automotive history, starting with the 2015 Aston Martin GT12.

The true version of this British supercar may be limited to 100 models, but you’ll be able to take this car to the Australian outback as you please. Even the tagline for the car excites: ‘Inspired by Racing’. With almost 600BHP (592 fine English horses, to be exact), the 5.9 litre V12 will definitely feature much lower running costs than it’s real-life counterpart as it tears up the Horizon festival. This lightweight British wonder should prove a handful come September.

After making it’s video game debut in 2015’s Need for Speed, Forza Horizon 3 now hosts the mechanically brilliant Nissan GT-R ’17. As with any GT-R, expect high speeds, incredible handling, and a surprisingly tame interior as you drive through Australia. Each iteration of the GT-R does feel familiar but it’s good to see Nissan’s latest model be represented on FH3’s roster.

The Cadillac CTS-V has now been around for over 10 years, with it’s premium sedan looks combining well with high-performance parts normally found on contemporary Corvettes. The 2016 model in Horizon 3 stays true to this formula. If you want to travel in style through the city streets, you could do a lot worse than the CTS-V. In terms of performance, the latest iteration in the long-standing model line packs 640BHP and an automatic 8-speed gearbox, reaching a top speed of 200MPH. The CTS-V should hold it’s own the other two stars of the week, at least in terms of straight-line grunt.

Playground Games continue to include a great selection of vehicles from all around the world in the Horizon series, even with the Australian focus of the game. All three of the star cars this week have their own traits which will make them fun to drive when Horizon 3 releases. All 30 vehicles revealed this week are listed below:
