We deliver.
It’s more than a company motto. It’s a way of life for the Growing Generations staff. Our staff is made up of people who absolutely love what they do. They believe in families and their team. They also believe that helping couples and individuals expand their families is the greatest job in the world.
Simply put, our goal is to deliver a service that you will treasure forever.
As you work with Growing Generations, you will encounter a number of different people who are dedicated to helping you fulfill your dreams. Many of our staff members have been involved in third party reproduction themselves, either as egg donors, surrogates or as parents through surrogacy.
Many staff members have social work and psychology backgrounds. We are able to offer services in English, Spanish, Catalan, Italian, French and Chinese.
There are several categories of staffers you will interact with, who will provide you sympathetic and highly skilled assistance as you go through the process of creating your family. Here’s a look at the different departments at GG, how they’ll impact your journey, and when you’re likely to hear from them.
Admissions Specialists
Employees in this department work with you to gather information and help you get started with our program. These are usually the first Growing Generations employees you will encounter during your journey. Admissions is generally broken down into three subdivisions:
Egg Donor: An admissions specialist in the egg donor program screens egg donor applicants for medical and psychological history.
Surrogate: This admissions specialist evaluates a surrogate applicant on a multitude of levels including her medical history, psychological history, motivations, criminal history and previous pregnancies.
Intended Parents: Admissions specialists in this division screen the intended parents’ applications and help them come up with surrogate matching preferences.
Your time spent with your Admissions Specialist will vary based on which program you are entering (surrogate admissions tend to take longer than egg donor or intended parent admissions) as well as how quickly you reply to requests for information and contact. Generally your case will remain with the admissions team until you are matched.
Case Specialist
Once you are matched, your case will be transitioned from our Admissions department to our Case Management department. Individuals working in this case will become your point of contact throughout the remainder of your journey, assisting you with everything from legal contracts to post-birth documentations. Your case specialist manages medical relationships and oversees overall financial transactions between parties, including insurance companies. This person will maintain contact with you for the bulk of your experience, and will likely check in with you at many points throughout your journey.
Case Specialist—Asia Due to an abundance of cases in Asia, Growing Generations has a separate department for aiding these clients. The Asia case specialist will be responsible for all of the same tasks as other case specialists, and will specialize in relations and customs of Asian countries.
Finance Specialist
In addition to a Case Specialist, each client will be assigned a Finance Specialist. This person is responsible for ensuring that distributions and payments are properly documented and sent on time. These individuals work to educate clients on treatment costs and work closely with insurance companies. Your Finance Specialist will stay with you throughout your entire journey and often for several months post-delivery. They often have a background in accounting or other fiscal management and are detail-oriented.
Vice President
The Vice President will interact with clients in a variety of ways over the course of a journey. From conducting milestone calls to overseeing operations of three different departments, there will be several opportunities to speak with the Vice President.
This person is responsible for crisis management or escalated case issues that can not be resolved by a Case Specialist. The VP also serves as liaison with Growing Generations’ medical clinic and legal vendors.
Operations Specialist
This person is responsible for keeping daily operations running. Between providing customer service, managing client-staff relationships, and improving operational administrative procedures, this is a busy department! This department also manages administrative tasks and the maintenance and operation of the Growing Generations web site.
Director of International Relations
This member of the team specializes in domestic and international law involving egg donation and surrogacy. Generally he or she is able to facilitate the process in a multiple languages. Currently, the director manages all prospective intended parents coming to Growing Generations from France, Italy, Spain, and Central and South America. This individual will teach about the process of surrogacy, including any potential costs, and will go on to personally manage the entire case and process for clients from these countries. Additionally, this person travels abroad to offer seminars on surrogacy and egg donation and is responsible for developing an international infrastructure of attorneys and IVF clinics overseas
