Vista Canyon is a 3 Phase, 10+ year development project in Santa Clarita. Building 3 is the first building constructed in the new community, and a large commercial anchor at the corner of the main retail thoroughfare, Lincoln Ave.
The project encompasses two levels of commercial office space above ground level retail. In order to take advantage of its context, we designed large glass windows for mountain views, shaded by a large steel canopy 53' off the ground. The southwest facade has wide concrete corridors that not only keep the circulation external, but shade the storefront below. Exterior stairs wrapped in image-perforated panels tie them together, providing for vertical circulation in the Southern California climate. These moves provide for more usable square footage inside, which means more lease-able space for our client.
