Former Enugu Rangers star Henry Obiekwu slumped and died during a friendly game with his youth side, Samba FC at the UNEC stadium in Enugu on Monday.
Henry who is the younger brother of former Super Eagles defender, Kingsley Obiekwu died after complaining of severe chest pain during the match and asked to be substituted. He later slumped and was rushed to several hospitals before giving up the ghost at the Eastern Nigeria Medical Centre in Enugu.
Henry last featured for Taraba FC.
