The requirement is for 21 units of vacuum tanks including:
- high precision machining of parts
- sheet metal work
- electron beam and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding
- precise component assembly
- vacuum leak tightness test
- cleaning
This opportunity is suitable for companies which have a proven competence and experience of at least 5 years in:
- design, manufacturing and testing of ultra-high vacuum (UHV) mechanical parts and components in particular UHV chambers
- sheet metal processing
- high precision mechanical machining
- TIG welding
- electron-beam welding
- vacuum heat treatment (stress relieve)
- cleaning and assembling of UHV equipment
- UHV testing
- metrology controls with a coordinate measuring machine
