The 2016 NFL regular season gets underway Sept. 8 when the defending Super Bowl champions Denver Broncos take on the Carolina Panthers in a rematch of Super Bowl 50. The cheapest tickets for that game cost $81, according to Ticketmaster, but even if you score them, there's a good chance you'll shell out money for drinks, food and parking.
Instead of crunching numbers to figure out the best NFL stadiums to visit, GOBankingRates.com surveyed all 32 NFL teams and determined how much it costs, on average, for two people to attend a home game. Taking into account the average ticket price, cost of refreshments and parking, here's your guide to the cheapest and most expensive stadiums to see an NFL game.

Cincinnati Bengals Game at Paul Brown Stadium: $131.93
Ticket price: $39.47

Parking: $22
Named after Paul Brown who coached both the Browns and the Bengals, Cincinnati’s NFL stadium offers the cheapest game according to our study. Overall, Bengals tickets are the third cheapest at $39.47 a ticket, and a 14 oz. beer costs $5, the cheapest price per ounce out of all NFL stadiums. These cheap tickets and beer, plus affordable parking, make Paul Brown Stadium one of the best NFL stadiums to visit on a budget.
Cleveland Browns Game at FirstEnergy Stadium: $133.66

The Cleveland Browns have stumbled in recent years, with their first round draft pick QB Johnny Manziel garnering more attention off the field than on. But FirstEnergy Stadium offers some of the lowest prices overall with NFL tickets costing, on average, $38.33. Along with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Browns have the second-cheapest tickets. By NFL standards, beer is cheap as well, costing $5 per 12 oz.
Buffalo Bills Game at Ralph Wilson Stadium: $136.66

The Buffalo Bills are another NFL team that have fallen on tough times but also offer some of the cheapest NFL tickets on average. However, beer prices are just average, with $9 getting you 20 oz.

Last season, the Kansas City Chiefs once again advanced to the playoffs, and won their first playoff game since 1993. Although the Chiefs went down in the second round, Arrowhead Stadium offers the fourth-cheapest NFL game to attend for two. Notably, the Chiefs tie with the Browns for the second-cheapest average ticket price.

Jacksonville Jaguars Game at EverBank Field: $141.60

From Houston to Nashville, Tenn., from the Oilers to the Titans, Tennessee has come a long way from heady days in the 1999-2000 season, when they lost to the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV — by a yard. Since then, the Titans have struggled. Still, Titans tickets cost about $43, which isn’t a bad deal, and hot dogs come in at $4 a pop.

For much of the 1990s and early 2000s, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were perennial playoff contenders. In 2003, the Buccaneers won their first Super Bowl, defeating the Oakland Raiders. The Buccaneers have lost their footing since then but scored some surprising victories last season, finishing 6-10 and improving on their 2-14 season in 2014.
Although championships might be elusive, the Buccaneers offer affordable NFL tickets — the ninth cheapest — and beer prices of $7.75 for 20 oz. Along with below-average parking, the cost for two to attend a Buccaneers game is only about $150.
Detroit Lions Game at Ford Field: $153.50

The Detroit Lions have fallen on dark days as a franchise, having failed to advance past the first round of the NFL playoffs since 1991. In recent years, the Lions put up respectable numbers, including going 11-5 in 2014, good for second place in their division.
Although championships are few and far between, Lions fans enjoy ticket prices that are cheaper than average. Plus, Ford Field is one of the best NFL stadiums for cheap parking: At $11, it has the cheapest parking in the league.
Miami Dolphins Game at New Miami Stadium: $154.70

The Miami Dolphins aren’t exactly bad, but they also haven’t made it to the NFL playoffs since 2008. For Dolphins fans, the picture is rosier as New Miami Stadium offers affordable tickets and more for your money in beer, soft drinks and parking.

Fans endured a disappointing season last year but can look forward to cheap game day prices at the Georgia Dome. Falcons tickets average $48 per ticket, the 10th cheapest.
San Diego Chargers Game at Qualcomm Stadium: $155.83

The San Diego Chargers, along with the St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders, were one of the possible teams to relocate to Los Angeles. Ultimately, the NFL approved the Rams move to L.A., leaving the Chargers at Qualcomm in San Diego.
Refreshments will cost you a lot at a Chargers game, especially soft drinks. But Qualcomm Stadium makes up for this with cheap tickets and parking, for a reasonable total cost of $155.83 for two to attend.
Indianapolis Colts Game at Lucas Oil Stadium: $158.17

The Indianapolis Colts were constant Super Bowl contenders under star quarterback Peyton Manning. Defeat in Super Bowl 50 might have been tough to swallow, but game day prices at Bank of America Stadium will go down smooth. Beers will only run you $5. Soft drinks are a good deal as well, while parking costs a manageable $20.

Fans who endure the altitude at Sports Authority Field can take advantage of inexpensive beers and hot dogs. Parking and ticket costs are on the higher end, bringing the cost for two to attend a Broncos game to just under $200.

Starting in the 2010s, the Houston Texans became playoff contenders, but have failed to advance through the divisional rounds. In terms of game day prices, $5 beers are definitely a plus. Parking, hot dogs and Texans tickets, however, all cost more than most other NFL stadiums.

At $10 per 16 oz. beer, prices are the second highest per ounce out of all NFL stadiums, behind only the Eagles. And costing an average of $93.33 per regular season ticket, Levi’s Stadium is the second-most expensive stadium in the NFL.

The Washington Redskins could be turning their franchise around, having finished first in the NFC East last season. The last time the Redskins won the Super Bowl was 1992, but that hasn't stopped ticket prices from settling around $87.33, the sixth highest in the league.
Redskins tickets rank among the most expensive franchise season tickets in the NFL. The rest of the $272.17 cost for two comes from hot dogs, soft drinks and beer, which all are on the pricier side. Parking at Redskins games is the second most expensive in the league.

Methodology: GOBankingRates.com surveyed five costs of attending a football game at all 31 National Football League stadiums: (1) ticket prices, calculated by averaging the cost per game for the three cheapest season ticket prices advertised on the football team's official NFL site; (2) parking, (3) beer, (4) soft drink and (5) hot dog prices, as reported in the September 2015 Team Marketing Report. To find the cost of attending a game, GOBankingRates assumed two guests and calculated the total cost of two tickets, two hot dogs, two beers and one parking spot.
