Super excited that mine is the cover image on the latest issue of Photoshop User Magazine…
Produced by the folks at KelbyOne (formerly the N.AP.P.P) makes this extra special for me as it’s with those guys that it all started for me in this industry. As a newbie to Photoshop, literally knowing nothing I remember searching for help on Yahoo (as that was Big Brother at the time) and the very first link on the very first pages of results took me to the National Association of Photoshop Professionals headed by Scott Kelby and then Photoshop Guys and co hosts, Matt Kloskowski and Dave Cross.
Fast forward a few years and I’m proud and honoured that I’m now and Instructor for KelbyOne at the Photoshop World Conference and Expo and have also filmed classes for the KelbyOne members’ site.
As if having a cover wasn’t enough, the icing on the cake is that the cover article is a collaboration between myself and my Buddy and Graphic Designer, Dave Clayton.
Hard to believe that Dave and I have only known each other for less than 6 years (having been introduced by Scott Kelby) and have had so many great experiences from working together with many more to come. Dave has designed the covers for both of my books and now here we are writing articles together. Makes me very proud indeed but also excited to see how Dave is moving forward with an ever increasing pace; great guy and great talent!
This coming July we both fly out to the Photoshop World Conference and Expo in Las Vegas where we’re both amongst the line up of instructors, with this being Dave’s first time and I cannot wait to see him doing his thing on stage.
