Hello to all our bodacious donors!
It's now Day 40 of our Read For Pixels 2015 IWD Indiegogo fundraiser and we've raised $4,271 (approximately 71%) - that's over two-thirds of the way to our minimum $6000 goal!
UPDATES, UPDATES:
(A) We've got some splendid news: To help us make the most of Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April as well as give us a fighting chance to reach our $6,000 goal, Indiegogo has very kindly extended the deadline of the Read For Pixels fundraiser to April 28th 2015!
So keep going with helping us spread the word about the campaign to your fellow fans, geeks, and book lovers because if we reach the $6,000 fundraising goal, Indiegogo will give us a 3.75% completion bonus - that means more funds going towards ending violence against women.
Plus, it's a great way to get the conversation about violence against women started in your circles and communities and to honour Sexual Assault Awareness Month!
(B) For our extended stretch of fundraising, we'll be doing things a little differently:
Starting from Saturday April 11th 2015, we'll be showcasing an author and her goodie(s) every couple of days. The featured author will have her recorded Read For Pixels Google Hangout on top of this Indiegogo page and one of her goodies will be our featured perk for 48 hours.
This is a great way for all you fans and book lovers to check out the Google Hangouts of your favourite Read For Pixels authors if you've missed them and also easily locate some great perks that may suit you or a fellow fan.
We'll be sending you updates as we switch authors every two days.
(C) There will be some changes to our donation asks and listed perks in the 19 remaining days of this fundraiser. Watch out for some great wallet-friendly surprises to come!
