How to Use the Air Pro 4
It is very easy to use the Air Pro 4 wireless earbuds. Turn on your device’s Bluetooth, open the charging case, remove the insulating film, and then return the earbuds to the case. Depending on your device, select EarFun Air Pro 4 and the earbuds connect. In the future, as long as you are using the same device, turning on the headphones will automatically connect to your device. You can even connect the earbuds to a second device at the same time. For example, I connected them to both my iPhone as well as my iPad. I could use my iPad and then answer my phone without having to reconnect from one device to the other.
Each earbud has a single touchpad. Tapping either one twice will play or pause the music or media. A single tap on the right or left earbuds will increase or decrease the volume respectively. Tapping the right earbud 3 times will advance to the next track while tapping the left earbud 3 times goes back to the previous track. Tapping and holding the left touchpad for 2 seconds will cycle through the noise canceling features (Normal, Ambient, and Active Noise Cancelling). Tapping and holding the right touchpad will activate the voice assistant, and tapping either earbud will answer or end a call. In addition, the Air Pro 4 features in-ear detection. Removing an earbud from your ear will stop playing the media while putting it back in will resume play. This is great for when you want to speak to someone and don’t have to worry about tapping an earbud twice before removing it.
The earbuds can be charged by placing them in the charging case. They take 1 hour for a completed charge. The charging case charges completely in 2 hours when using the USB-C cable or within 3.5 hours when using a wireless charger. The earbuds can play up to 11 hours in normal mode and up to 7.5 hours in ANC mode. When including charging from the case without it being recharged, the total play time is 52 and 35 hours respectively.
The EarFun Audio App can be downloaded for free from the App Store or the Google Play store. The app provides more options. In addition to being able to select the three ANC modes, game mode can be activated, which decreases latency to less than 50 ms. You can use the equalizer to select between default sound, preset equalizer with 10 different presets for different types of music as well as bass and treble, or use the custom equalizer to create your own style. You can also set your own sound profile where the app tests your hearing at different frequencies to create a custom setting to ensure you can hear all ranges of sound at the right volume. The app also allows you to update the firmware for the earbuds. Finally, the app includes a find earbud feature that sends a loud sound to the earbuds to help you find them if they have been misplaced.
Why You Should Get the EarFun Air Pro 4
The EarFun Air Pro 4 wireless earbuds have impressive sound. They are Hi-Res audio certified and support the LDAC audio codec. The sound quality is provided by 10mm composite dynamic drivers, which recreate deep, rhythmic bass as well as penetrating treble. They also work great for taking calls or using them during a virtual meeting. The earbuds have 3 microphones, for a total of 6, powered by a machine learning AI algorithm. The ANC mode can decrease noise by up to 50 decibels and also reduce wind noise when used outdoors. Finally, these earbuds are very lightweight, each weighing only 5.2 grams.
I had the opportunity to use the Air Pro 4 earbuds while traveling as well as around my home. While driving long distances, I found that I could listen to my history podcasts without bothering the rest of my family. Using the ambient sound setting, I could still hear my surroundings and just pulling out one earbud would stop the program so I could communicate with others. I also found the earbuds quite comfortable. The key is to choose the correct size of ear tips and with 5 different sizes from which to choose, there is one for each size of ear.
Music played through the Air Pro 4 also sounds great. I consider Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture a great test and I could hear the various instruments within the piece and enjoyed the deep base of the cannons and the ringing of the church bells. I like the ability to select from many different equalizer presets in the app so the settings are customized for various types of music. I had given some earbuds by Earfun to my son-in-law for a gift and when he saw I had received the new Air Pro 4 earbuds, he commented that his EarFun earbuds were the best he had ever used. I too have always been impressed with EarFun’s earbuds and headphones, and I recommend the EarFun Air Pro 4 wireless earbuds for those who are looking for a comfortable device that produces great sound quality for an affordable price.
