The General Accounting Office is pleased to announce an audio conference that will be presented by the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) addressing: “From Effort to Evidence: New Alignment for Federal, State and Local Performance to Drive Results. During the last several years, state and regional networks have been formed to share best practices to improve program results. Federal agencies are coordinating with state and local governments to reduce costs and measure in a more outcome driven model. Outcome-focused grants are offering more flexibility for grantees to design individual programs. This web conference will drive real insight on strategies and measures for coordinated, not duplicative, government services. Some examples will be the new Federal/Local performance and resource decisions at the U.S. Justice Department, and the new Grants Guidance approaches to improving results.

Please be advised that this presentation may have limited interest and applicability to some State agencies. It is being offered to all State agencies as an opportunity for their employees to gain Continuing Professional Education (CPE) at no cost. Attendance is voluntary.

Please park on the lot north of the parking garage or the northeast corner of 15th Avenue and Adams. There are two disabled parking spaces in the visitor section of the garage and three disabled parking spaces in the northeast surface lot.
