A few days ago, Square Enix began hinting at a new game with a teaser website accompanied by a countdown timer. The timer has officially expired and a new game for iOS and Android has been unveiled. The upcoming game is titled Final Fantasy Legends 2, and it is being directed by Takashi Tokita, the directer of Final Fantasy Legends: Toki no Suisho and the producer of Final Fantasy Legends (known as Final Fantasy Dimensions in the west). Tokita was also the producer of Chrono Trigger and Parasite Eve, as well as the Lead Game Designer of Final Fantasy IV. The game is available for pre-registration in Japan right here.
