At 18:30 GMT Fed governor Janet Yellen is to give a speech titled “The State of the Job Market”. While she will be most likely talking about job prospects of new graduates (the event takes place at one of the universities) she could also use this opportunity to correct the market understanding of just how much more hawkish has the FOMC become of late and heading into 2017. We don’t know if a Q&A seesion will take place, but it doesn’t mean that the event won’t have an impact on the dollar and the whole market.
