Local Accounting Firm Makes Singapore Proud by being named the Most Valued Partner Asia at Global Accounting Awards
Futurebooks, a local born accounting firm, was awarded by global online accounting software Xero
SINGAPORE – 12 September 2016, Futurebooks, a Singapore-born accounting and company secretarial firm, is awarded by Xero, a New Zealand-based cloud accounting software company which raised a total of S$468M in funding and listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX: XRO) and Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: XRO), as the Most Valued Partner Asia, at the recently concluded Xerocon South Awards 2016 held in Brisbane, Australia.
Xerocon is a yearly event organised by Xero, which sees huge crowds of accountants, bookkeepers and software technology partners gathered in one place. To culminate the three-day conference is the 2016 Xerocon South Awards, which recognises all the high performing small business accountants and bookkeepers in the Asia Pacific region.
The Most Valued Partner for Asia Award is given out by Xero for the first time this year to recognise the leading accounting partner in Asia that uses the platform to better their own and their client’s businesses. Among all the Xero accounting partners nominated from all over Asia, Futurebooks was placed as the Most Valued Partner 2016. Accounting firms from Thailand and Hong Kong have also received an Honourable Mention.
