Grade 4 Starting Salary £18,940 (pro rata)
(17.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year)

Student Support and Development Services (SSDS) is a broad and varied department which comprises nine-core service teams including, Disability & Dyslexia Support, Counselling and Mental Health Service, Student Life & Learning, Careers & Employability, Electives, Student Financial Support, International Student Support, Curriculum Support & Development and Residence Support.
Disability and Dyslexia Support provide advice and guidance to students surrounding appropriate support packages and reasonable adjustments.
You will provide a professional and understanding first point of contact for both students and staff members. You will manage appointments and provide assistance to students requiring advice, experiencing difficulties and/or seeking practical solutions and refer accordingly. You will also provide effective administration within a number of key areas including the processing of needs assessments and diagnostic reports.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and have experience of working in a student facing or customer focused environment. The post holder will possess 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above, including Maths & English, or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience.
