About Us
The Forgotten Saints is a developing Templar Cabal; initially we started out around 2 years ago with the overall aim of helping others, in particular new gamers in progression of the game from a PvE perspective.
As time grew on it was felt by many of our members that we wished to expand upon this, bringing a wider community to our activities and making game-play more collaborative and enjoyable, as such we are looking for people who may also be interested in this idea and wish to be part of a process to create an enjoyable and productive community.
What do we do?
As mentioned our initial aims were to help new and aspiring players to the game, we continue to do this as we feel it will always serve not just our interests but the interests of the wider community to be helpful, resourceful and engaging with new and aspiring players.
The Secret World is known for its welcoming Community and this is something we always like to make emphasis on, be it game related questions or assistance in various quests types (i.e. general, Beginner 18’s ect), we drive to make our community help one another and hope our Cabal members respond positively from that example and do the same for others.
In addition to new gamers we have always accepted more experienced players in the hopes of making better use of the end game content such as Raids and Lairs, this is an area of gameplay we now wish to make more emphasis on.
We have made a basic weekly Cabal structure to cover Raid groups and wish to expand on this more by including Lairs, facilitators for Scenarios & Dungeon Runs. In order for us to achieve this however we will also be looking to enlist players who want to learn and take up management roles within a Cabal structure as this will help with the overall aims of our Cabal goals.
What is our future plan?
The hope is with an expansion of our Cabal into other areas of Gameplay we will gather more like minded individuals who wish to do the same things we do and play the game in a much more enjoyable way. By creating a fixed structure for our Cabal activities we hope to create a regular attendance of gamers to make these events much more enjoyable, the ideal goal is to create a community productive to the point it is self-sustaining with many helpful players. The much longer term goal may include to make expansion from the current Templar Faction to include also Illuminati & Dragon Faction players, we are also happy to have talks with such players who may wish to help us with such development.
What do we lack?
We currently require more players who are able to assist with management in order for us to bring things forward, the more facilitators for events or group we find the more accessible our Cabal will become to the wider community.
Role-play gaming is not something we have pursued, it is not something we have plans to expand on however this does not mean we dismiss other players choices to engage in this, we would be quite happy to organise it as a group activity if someone wished to take a lead on it.
As a Templar Cabal focus on the other Factions has been limited, however we emphasise an interest in developing relations with other Faction players who might wish to Take a lead on such areas and work jointly with Templar managers; if this is successful then it will create greater expansion and facilitation of events across the board of all Factions.
So what are we asking for?
We are looking for people who view the game in the same way we do, are going to enjoy the things we do and actually wish to take an active role in being a part of our community, currently we expect weekly activity from our members (once per week minimum). If players are inactive for over one month they will normally be kicked unless they can provide valid reasons for their inactivity.
For new gamers we would want to see people join us who are communicative in game and friendly towards others, we want such people to engage with other Cabal members and share ideas about what they think and how they would want the Cabal to function, actively seek to help/advise others where they can and of course enjoy the game.
For experienced gamers (after Transylvania quest-line) the expectation is more dedicated, we would want active efforts to join our group activity such as Raids & Lairs, be more active in offering help to others when possible and invite other cabal members to their own activities to sustain good communication with the Cabal community; we also want these gamers to set a good example to the newer gamers who join us not just with their activity but positive attitude towards others and the game itself also.
For Gamers seeking to engage in our management structures we would need good communication and weekly activity to support our events in game, Teamspeak3 is necessary or at the very least good communication in chat, times and dates for facilitating groups or events are negotiable and will be shared out as evenly as possible.
And what we do not want...
As with any decent cabal, we do not tolerate rudeness or demeaning behaviour towards others, anything considered intentionally offensive and hateful will be taken very seriously, this Cabal does not look well upon people who wish to cause negativity.
Other Specifics
We are predominately a UK based cabal, we tend to be most active between the hours of 17:30-00:00 on weekdays and at a bit more expansive over the weekends. We are not restricted to UK only gamers however; we do have people from other far reaching areas such as Cambodia, the USA and a few other places.
For Raids we do have a Teamspeak3 chat for those who wish to use it, it is not mandatory to use because there is in-game chat also, however we would advise it is good to have because it serves for better communication between players during big events such as NY.
Why Join Us?
This is often the most common question we get asked and for good reasons, not every Cabal will fit all persons, however we feel we do have a good community and good opportunity for it to be further improved upon with like-minded people joining us. We strongly feel that we have the potential to become something more positive than what we offer already and the key in achieving this is having good people join us to make the Cabal into something really enjoyable for all.
How would I join?
Cabal recruitment is done in-game via the Manager of our Cabal, upon request of said player who wishes to join us, we will then invite them into the Cabal ranks and greet them to others who would be online at the time, below is a list of those who can invite you into the Cabal
