Vintage Japanese red tensha beads 1970, vintage stippled gold plated dangles 1970, gold ear wires

Vintage Japanese deep red tensha beads with white and salmon colored flowers are 5/8" across ( 14mm ) and are nestled between both vintage gold plated bead caps from the 1940's, and gold plated pewter spacers.

✦These tensha beads are over 30 years old and purchased by us in London during the early 1980's.
✦These are not new tensha beads that are currently being exported from Japan.

◉ As a point of information : "Tensha" in Japanese means "transfer" in English.
Japanese Tensha beads are lightweight and were handmade by applying a beautiful detailed decal to an acrylic or porcelain bead. This bead is then sealed with an acrylic coating to protect it.

Gold or silver foil accents are often used to highlight these stunning beads.

Hanging below these spectacular beads are vintage gold plated brass triangular dangles from the 1970's that have a gentle stippled effect to them. The dangles measure approximately 3/4" and the total length of these earrings is approximately 2".

These earrings have been finished on gold plated french ear wires and will arrive gift wrapped in a little box tied with a pretty ribbon all ready for gift giving.
