Vintage Chinese carved bone rose beads 1980, vintage carved flower resin beads 1950
Two ornately carved vintage beads - one a carved Chinese 10m bone bead from the 1980s, the other is a approximately 5/8" bead from the 1950s if not earlier which appears to be some kind of resin.
Initially when I found these beads in London during the 1980s, I thought they were bone but upon closer inspection realized they're not. No two are exactly alike.
I've separated both of these beads with ornate gold plated pewter bead caps to compliment the intricacy of the carving.

Total length of the beaded part of these earrings is approximately 1 1/2" long and they have been finished on gold plated 1" long kidney ear wires.
Total length of these earrings including the kidney ear wires is approximately 2 1/4" and they will arrive in a little box all ready for gift giving.
