Resorts and Hotels will offer lavish family feasts when the sun goes down during the Holy Month and these gatherings known as Iftar is celebrated very much as one of my favourite festive. The food is often authentic Malay cooking and Bangi Golf Resort (BGR) Restaurant is ready to charm guests with their exciting signature Buffet Ramadan from 9th June 2016- 4th July 2016.

The recent media launch showcased a handful of their buffet spread and the kitchen team is showcasing the Selera Pantai Timur selection (Famous Kelantanese local delicacy) as one of the main attractions to this year. Look forward to their Nasi Kerabu, a rice dish served with ulam, fried salted fish, fish crackers and a selection of garnishing.

The live stations are firing up fantastic delicacies. Manned by BGR Restaurant’s culinary experts where the highlight is heir famous Kambing Bakar (Roast Lamb with special Black Pepper sauce) and Sup Kambing Mamak (Indian Style Mutton Stew), as well as the noodles for those who like to prepare their meals accordingly.

On top of that, there is plenty of Melayu dishes, cooked in healthy technique we can all eat with a peace of mind knowing that we are taking in quality food. Sumptuous selection of Malay favourite includes Rendang Daging Taik Minyak and a Sambal Sotong Kembang; as well as Oriental cuisines such as Butter Prawns, Black Pepper Beef and Fish Fillet with Lemongrass Sauce. And that must have, Siput cooked in chili lemak is that fun and delicious item everyone would enjoy savouring.

Treating their guests at this media preview, the BGR Restaurant set up a lovely dessert booth to charm the guests with their Spanish Churros with Thick Chocolate Sauce, as well as the Malaysian’s favourite rich cendol flavour churned freshly on the spot, by the beautiful lake – a mesmerizing sight and lovely experience if it’s not for the unpredictable weather.

The dessert spread is a delight to end the feats on a sweet note, with plenty of choices of cakes, and assorted Malay Kuih. Also showcased on the dessert spread is a variety of puddings, agar-agar, and tropical fruits.
