Move Means Significant Growth in Florida and Ohio

(Atlanta, GA — July 20, 2015) — FisherBroyles LLP announced today that eight attorneys from Roetzel & Andress LPA have joined the nation’s first and largest cloud-based law firm in a major expansion of the firm’s legal talent in Florida and Ohio. In addition to a top-tier white collar litigation practice and a broad-based health, drug and pharmacy litigation and compliance practice, this group brings to FisherBroyles residential and commercial real estate, transportation and logistics, and commercial litigation capabilities. Additionally, the group increases the firm’s offerings for cross-border compliance issues including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and UK Bribery Act.

“This is a significant move within the legal industry, involving the largest lateral movement of a group of attorneys leaving a traditional law firm and collectively moving to an established cloud-based law firm,” said FisherBroyles co-founder and Managing Partner James M. Fisher, II. “Our focus on leveraging advanced technology to transform the practice of law has provided FisherBroyles with a platform that continues to attract top legal talent from traditional firms and provide high-quality, cost-effective legal services that benefit our clients and partners.”

Joining FisherBroyles as partners are Brian E. Dickerson, Daniel K. Weidenbruch, Robert G. Menzies, Nicole Hughes Waid, Anthony J. Calamunci, Robert B. Graziano, Michael R. Traven, and Amy L. Butler (brief bios are below). This accomplished group of attorneys advise clients on the many legal issues that affect all segments of the health care industry, including independent and specialty pharmacies, physician groups, medical device manufacturers, and third-party logistics providers.

“We are very excited to join forces with FisherBroyles,” said new partner Brian E. Dickerson. “The advantages offered by FisherBroyles’ Law Firm 2.0® business model is a perfect fit for our group and allows us to deliver to clients our deep bench of legal abilities and services in a more efficient manner that is difficult to match anywhere else.”

FisherBroyles Co-Founder and Managing Partner Kevin E. Broyles says he looks forward to the integration of the new attorneys into the firm and its growth into the Florida and Ohio markets. “By opening offices in Naples and Miami, we broaden our national presence, but more importantly, it increases our accessibility to clients in Latin America. Our future strategic growth also includes the Pacific Northwest and Europe. We are excited to gain in this move a large group of traditional law firm converts who recognize the big opportunities and flexibility that our Next Generation Law Firm® provides.”

“Leveraging technology in the cloud will allow us to practice law without the inefficient overhead that commonly weighs down traditional brick and mortar firms. We want to provide clients with more responsive and cost-effective legal services, and we are paving the future path for how to practice law,” said new FisherBroyles partner Daniel K. Weidenbruch.
