Fourth of July Fireworks in Riverside County

Beaumont

Monday, July 4th Pool Hours: 12-8PM, Music at 4PM, 6PM and 7:15PM, Fireworks at 9PM ci.beaumont.ca.usWhere: Stewart Park, 9th and Orange streets, Beaumont, CA The pool will be open all day (admission $1) and all other events are free. There will be three different bands playing including Latin fusion and a tribute to Sting and the Police all playing at Stewart Park. There will also be a night market to peruse as you wait for the fireworks display at 9PM.

Palm Desert

Monday, July 4th National Anthem 7:15PM, Concert at 7:30PM, Fireworks at 9PM palm-desert.org Where: Civic Center Park, San Pablo Desert, Palm Desert, CA 92260 Fun, fireworks and festivities are all free for the Palm Desert Fourth of July Celebration. It all kicks off at 7:15PM with the national anthem immediately followed by a concert. You can purchase drinks and snacks to enjoy and the fireworks go off at 9PM with a 20-minute spectacular.

Temecula

Monday, July 4th Park opens at 8AM, Festivities begin at 2PM, Fireworks at 9PM temeculaevents.org Where: Ronald Reagan Sports Park Festivities start at 2PM including live entertainment on the main stage, food, pool and Kids Fun Zone (wristbands $5, cash only). All other admission is free for the day with RV parking available along park side of Rancho Vista.

San Jacinto

Monday, July 4th Parade begins at 9AM and the festival runs from 10AM-2PM ci.san-jacinto.ca.us Where: Parade @ San Jacinto Unified School District Offices. Festival @ the Estudillo Mansion. The parade and festival are free and the fun will include food and live entertainment all day. Parade entry forms can be found online.

Lake Elsinore

Monday, July 4th Fireworks show begins at 9PM lake-elsinore.org Where: The T-Peninsula at Lake Elsinore. Viewing locations include Lakepoint Park, Elm Grove Beach, Davis Fishing Beach, Whiskers Fishing Beach. Passes to watch the fireworks display on Lake Elsinore from a boat are $10 per vessel, and admission from the peninsula is free. Don’t forget to sync the fireworks display with music by tuning into radio station KOLA 99.9

Riverside

Monday, July 4th 5PM-9:30PM, Fireworks at 9PM http://www.eventbrite.com/e/front-row-fireworks-2016-tickets-21838117397 The best place to catch the city fireworks going off at Mt. Rubicoux and La Sierra Park is at the Evergreen Memorial Historic Cemetery – the best seats in town Festivities include music and food vendors, guided walking tour, free kids zone, and “Little Firecracker” pageant for kids 5-10 years old. General admission is $5 and kids 2 and under are free. Don’t’ forget to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.

Apple Valley

Guests are invited to bring chairs and canopies, but leave their alcohol, pets and barbecues at home. Dont worry, entrance and parking are free

Victorville

Monday, July 4th Begins 2PM, Fireworks at 9PM http://www.victorvilleca.gov/site/popup.aspx?id=1808 Where: San Bernardino County Fairgrounds, 14800 Seventh St. Victorville, CA 92395 The Star Struck Spectacular, uniquely themed “A Tropical Escape,” will not only feature a fireworks show by Boom Boom Fireworks, but will also have musical entertainment, slides, face painting, carnival games and more. Entrance is free.

Redlands

Monday, July 4th Parade begins 10:30AM, Live Entertainment 11AM, Night Performances 8PM, Fireworks at 9PM http://www.redlands-events.com/July4.htm Where: Daytime festivities will be at Sylvan Park at 601 N University St, Redlands, CA 92374. The night show and fireworks will be at the University of Redlands Ted Runner Stadium at 1200 E Colton Ave., Redlands, CA 92373 University of Redlandss Fourth of July celebrations continue to be one of the largest in the state. Before the night performance there will be a USAF C-17 flyover, which will end with skydivers landing in the stadium. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the gate. Kids under 3 years old are free.

Chino

Ayala Park, 14225 Central Avenue, Chino, CA, 91710 Chino is celebrating the Fourth of July early on Saturday the 2nd with festivities at Ruben S. Ayala Park. Festivities include food, live music, carnival rides and more family fun at the event.

Joshua Tree International Improv/Comedy Festival

Opening night of the festival will kick off with a Gala featuring hors d’oeuvres, desserts and a cash bar to accompany four hilarious sketch comedy groups. The weekend following is broken up into Improv Saturday, with new groups every 30 minutes, and Stand-up comedy Sunday with new comedians every 15 minutes. Both days there will be food trucks and drinks all day long to accompany the comedy. There will also be a handful of workshops that you can register for now on the site.

Idyllwild Lemon Lily Festival

The mission of the Lemon Lily Festival is to raise awareness and appreciation for the threatened native Lily.

Big Bear PaddleFest

The Big Bear PaddleFest on the lake will include dozens of races including stand-up paddleboard, kayak and canoe ranging from a 5K to a 20K. For a full list of categories, check out the website. After the races there will be an award ceremony and then straight on to partying 1PM-3PM is a beach party with food, music and games for all of the competitors and spectators to enjoy.

Night Adventures in the Monument

The best way to experience the diversity of the living desert is at night. That’s why Friends of the Desert meets after full darkness with black lights to seek out the various night creatures inhabiting our desert. Some creatures you might find on the night hike include: scorpions, tarantulas, lizards, geckos, spiders, owls, jackrabbits, snakes and maybe a coyote. This is a family event is for the whole family. If you have your own black light, you’re encouraged to bring it along

Big Bear Old Miners Chili Cook Off

Admission to the cook off is free and there’s just a $5 fee for a tasting kit. Going down at the Bartlett Street Parking Lot in the heart of Big Bear Lake Village. The day will include tons of vendors, live entertainment, more food, beer and of course contestants preparing red chili, chili verde and homemade salsa for judging. The afternoon ends with the big announcement of chili contest winners.

Spirits of the West Brewsfest

There will be a full day of Western family fun to celebrate The National Day of the Cowboy. All of that fun happens while you can sample 50+ beers and spirits. It’s the cowboy way.
