US Surf Open

Now – Sunday, August 2nd

This is the last weekend to make it out to the US Surf Open in Huntington Beach. Check out the skate, surf, and BMX or just come for the all the vendors and free stuff. Disney Screen at Cinemark

Throughout August Daily Showtimes - 10:30AM, 1:15PM, 4PM and 7PM

Watch your favorite Disney movies on the big screen beginning this August when Disney Screen hosts four classic Disney films each week. All films will be accompanied with a short film and admission is unlimited. $5 for a daily pass to all 4 movies, $10 for a weekly pass, $20 for a monthly pass and $40 for a quarterly pass. OC Pride LGBT Festival

Saturday, August 1st 12PM-10PM

For the fourth year in a row, OC Pride will be absolutely free to the public The party’s going on in Downtown Santa Ana. There will be a Kid’s Club in Birch park with games, a treasure hunt, water balloon games and more plus tons of live music, pride talks, closet ball and more entertainment. Pride week will also include a Rainbow Pride Party at Velvet Lounge Saturday night, Rainbow Rompers Sunday play day for kids, West Street Beach Party and a closing party at Main Street Bar on Sunday night. Free Movie Mondays at Segerstrom Center for the Arts

Mondays Now – August 10th 8PM-10PM

Bring your friends and your beach chairs to the Arts Plaza at Segerstrom Center for the Arts for free movie Mondays with food trucks. Set-up begins at 5:30PM and the movie will start at dusk, approximately 8PM.Event website: scfta.org

Downtown Fullerton Art Walk

Friday, August 7th 6PM-10PM

The first Friday of each month is the Art Walk in Historic Downtown Fullerton. The event is totally free to the public and features brick and mortar galleries, local performance artists, food trucks, live music, drinks and more. Ribs, Pigs, amp; Watermelons Summer Festival

Friday, August 7th – Sunday, August 9th Fri: 5:30-10PM, Sat: 10AM-8PM, Sun: 11AM-5PM

American Family Housing’s largest fundraiser is the annual Pigs, Ribs and Watermelons Pro BBQ competition and beer festival. The weekend includes a watermelon eating, rib eating and cow milking contests, live music and a $10,000 prize for the best BBQ. The fun goes on all weekend long so you can stop by anytime. All proceeds will go toward helping homeless adults and families in the community. Event website: afhusa.org

La Habra Corn Festival

That’s right, we have our very own corn festival right here in Orange County and it’s at El Centro Park in La Habra. This adorable downhome festival includes carnival rides and attractions, food, game and craft booths, a marketplace of vendors, live music, and Miss La Habra Don’t miss the longest running summer parade in SoCal that starts at 9:30AM traveling through the city and of course the corn and pie eating contests. Art Crawl Experience - Swinin on the Promenade

Saturday, August 8th 6PM-10PM

Held on the Center Street Promenade, stroll among the outdoor art fixtures and discover artists at the Anaheim Art Crawl Experience. There will be food trucks, local performers, unique hand-crafted treasures, pop-galleries and tons to see. The crawl stretches from Anaheim Blvd., to Harbor Blvd. and along Center Street Promenade. RAW Natural Born Artists Presents: Paramount

Saturday, August 8th 6PM-10PM

Put on your best cocktail attire and head out for a night of artistic showcases with RAW. Each event features a film screening, musical performance, art gallery, performance art and more from handpicked local talent. Tickets are $15 presale and $20 at the door. San Clemente Fiesta Music Festival

Brought to you by the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce, the Fiesta Street Festival Block Party is fun for the whole family. To Live amp; Dine OC 2015

A night of modern luxury, the To Live amp; Dine event will take place at the Segerstrom Center for the arts and include a night of food, drinks and acrobatic performances. The event will include tastings from the top restaurants in Orange County, live entertainment and vignettes of luxury home brands. OC Weekly’s Decadence

Are you a foodie looking for your next fix? Then OC Weekly’s Decadence event is right up your culinary alley. The event will bring together 50 of the hottest local restaurants and brands including The Crow Bar amp; Kitchen, The Brickhouse Public and so much more. Orange Wine Walk

Orange will be hosting its first-ever Wine Walk this August to support the Hope Center for the Arts. Wine in hand you’ll be able to stroll the streets of Old Towne Orange, enjoy great food and live entertainment by various artists, singers and musicians.

Brea Fest

Friday, August 21st 6:30PM-10PM

Brea Fest is the city’s original food fest to celebrate art and the delicious food and beverages of over 30 restaurants. There will be live bands, outdoor dancing, a gallery exhibit and artist demonstrations, theater performances and Kidsville for the little ones. Local restaurants donate food to this annual community event that celebrates Breas Art Programs such as the Curtis Theatre, Brea Art Gallery, and Concerts in the Park. The Fit Expo Anaheim

The FitExpo Anaheim is one giant playground for fitness enthusiasts; where they can check out all the latest products and services while catching competitions, fashion shows and seminars. Food, Wine amp; Jazz at The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort

Thursday, August 27th – Sunday, August 30th

The name says it all. The festival line-up includes a VIP Event at Stonehill Tavern on Thursday, Grand Tastings on Friday and Saturday and a Champagne Jazz Brunch on Sunday. The St. Regis Monarch Beach’s new food and wine festival will feature 50 chefs, as well as 30 wineries and boutique vintners. General admission for Grand Tasting is $100 per day including food and wine tastings. Event website: stregismb.com

OC Japan Fair

Friday, August 28th – Sunday, August 30th

Absorb the rich and diverse culture of Japan at the OC Japan Fair where everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Come enjoy Sake tastings, the Meat Festival (Niku Fest), live entertainment, games, vendors and more. Admission is $5 and parking is $7. Event website: oc-japanfair.com

SoCal Brew Fest After Hours

Saturday, August 29th 3PM-7PM

Held at Farmer’s Park in Anaheim, the So Cal Brew Fest is back for round 2 You only have until August 1st to purchase your ticket so hurry for your chance to get in. The After Hours even will feature unlimited pours from 30 different California beers plus music and games to keep the party going. 16th Annual Elvis Festival Burning Love

Sunday, August 30th 10AM-4PM

The day long tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley is this month at the Orange County Fair Grounds. Dress up, mingle, check out the king of Cadillac Car Show and have yourself a rockin’ good time. Be a part of the KaraokeFest, ice cream eating contest, trivia contest or new Elvis lip sync contest.
