When was the last time we read ‘Politics’ and ‘Music’ together?
If we told you two rival actors are friends, you would probably still believe us. But when three politicians, namely the Chief Minister, Law Minister and Leader of the Opposition Party jam to groovy music and sing together, it can only be possible in the lands of Meghalaya, in Shillong!
As politicians everywhere across the globe are busy in their cut-throat rivalry, Meghalaya’s Chief Minister Mukul Sangma was busy jamming to the Beatles classic – All my lovin’ with his colleagues and even the leader of the opposition party! Law minister Rowell Lyngdoh and the leader of the opposition Dr. Donkupar Roy joined the CM on stage as he performed at his daughter’s wedding.
Makes you wonder how it doesn’t take much to set differences aside and unite for some good old fashioned fun. Let’s hope our other beloved politicians take note and allow music to bring them together.
