THE ROUND UP SALOON

The Round Up Saloon name is no stranger to the area. The original bar was located downtown on NP Avenue and Fourth Street North and was purchased by the current owners in 1990 but the spot had to close for city development. It wasn’t until this fall that the owners decided to resurrect the bar next to a brand new Royal Liquors location. The bar boasts the ultimate old west saloon theme with the wooden bar and furniture, saloon style Victorianesque wallpaper and thick velvet curtains. And there’s no neon to keep it old school. The bar has an outdoor patio and a full food menu with options for take out meals.

THE FROTHY STACHE

For those who love the froth of a fine brewski washing over their ‘stache, check out this newest addition to the burgeoning craft beer scene. The Frothy Stache offers 18 Midwestern-brewed craft beers on tap and their mission is to serve craft-beers that no other bar in the Fargo-Moorhead area offers. The bar also has small snacks, select wines, daily specials, events, live music and indoor seating for 48 with tables outside on a sidewalk patio.

REVLAND GALLERY

Artist and local gallery owner Steve Revland has rediscovered his passion for bringing art to Downtown Fargo. After closing his doors at The Uptown Gallery on Broadway, it didn’t take long for Revland to realize that reopening, even if in a temporary setting in what was formerly the Schumacher Goodyear building, was the only thing he needed to do. Although his new gallery space is smaller and features fewer artists, his commitment and drive is bigger than ever. After his eightmonth lease is up, Revland is hoping to keep his gallery downtown in the vicinity of north Broadway.
