• I have no proficiency speaking or writing in any non-English language. I can read basic Portuguese pertaining to genealogical material; which is necessary for conducting Azorean research. (I am half Portuguese from the Azores Island of Portugal). I use standard Portuguese translation keys for the terms most commonly found in historical documents.
