• The Pueblo Colorado Center is a branch library of the Genealogical
Library
located in Salt Lake City. The main library was founded in 1894
to
gather genealogical records and
assist
members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with
their
family history
and
genealogical
research.
The main Library is the largest library of its kind in the world and is visited by an estimated 1,900 or more individual patrons and groups each day. Our branch library is much more modest. Records Collection

Through a microform circulation system, we have access to the main library's collection of many of the genealogical records of the world. • Our computers access the FamilySearch database which contains many millions of names linked into families. Training and Assistance • We offer access to and assistance in the use of many internet research sites. We can also assist you with the use of The Family History Library Catalog, the online catalog describing the holdings of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.

Family History Centers • Family history centers (FHC) are branches of the Family History Library. • Over 4,000 family history centers operate in more than 88 countries. • Local family history centers are staffed by helpful volunteers. • About 100,000 rolls of microfilm are circulated to family history centers each month.
