Eva Kozlowski is a Philadelphia based artist, living only a couple blocks from Clark Park!  Her collection of paintings, SONGS OF THE HEART, is currently on view at our cafe on Baltimore Avenue.

Eva has been painting in oil for 11 years, starting at age 14. Although subject matter and means of expression have shifted over the years, she enjoys the exploration and journey of image-making, regardless of the piece. She finds excitement in the unknown of what each picture will entail. With an emphasis on the inherently symmetrical designs of the natural world, Eva hopes to encapsulate the rhythmic patterns that we see in plants, and the human body. Elements of nature and child-like expression/exploration are themes in Eva’s pictures. She never knows how each picture will be when complete, but enjoys sitting back and watching as it unfolds before her. Painting and having the pleasure to share it with others, especially those right in her neighborhood is such a blessing!
